Quanam as a part of Oracle OpenWorld 2019
Victor Ganón, founding partner of Quanam, was in San Francisco at the Oracle OpenWorld 2019 event that took place from September 16th to September 19th at the Moscone Center of the North American city.
The event is an annual Oracle convention for business decision makers, IT management, business line end users and Oracle business partners.
Hereunder we detail some of the main announcements of the convention:
Oracle Autonomous Database. The new features include automatic provisioning, configuration, encryption, patching and online updating, elastic adjustment and much more, of the Database.
Oracle Autonomous Linux. It is the world’s first autonomous operating system that has the ability to execute a variety of tasks autonomously, such as patch updates and adjustments.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure expansion. Plans to expand the presence of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) were announced. Among the 20 new regions there are two countries where Quanam is present: Chile (Santiago) and Brazil (Belo Horizonte).
Oracle Free Tier. The innovative program offers free access to a variety of cloud services of the company, consisting of two different services: Always Free and Free Trial.
Java 13 availability.
Extension of the Oracle and Microsoft alliance.
New alliance between Oracle and VMware.
New resources of Oracle ERP Cloud. The updates presented allow companies to take advantage of technology innovations such as artificial intelligence (AI), digital assistants, natural language processing and Internet of Things
Oracle CX Cloud updates. A series of updates were announced for its consumer experience platform with a focus on helping brands ensure that all interactions with customers are data driven.
