The aims pursued and met were integrating the whole work on a single platform, in real time, improving management and decision making and reducing licensing costs by using free software.
According to Law No. 19.179 on Free Software and open Formats in the State, passed at the beginning of 2014, State Institutions and organizations must have free software licenses. Aligned with this policy, Quanam offers Open Code ERP Solution.
Quanam’s open technology solution has lower property costs. It increases and empowers self-maintenance, which in turn, leads to its adaptation to specific needs. Moreover, it has a user friendly interface and it is quick to learn.
This solution has been successfully implemented in several public and private organizations, nationally, regionally and internationally. It includes specific features for Uruguay and has been integrated with state systems (RUPE, SICE, SIIF). Among its features, it avoids doubling information records. At present it is working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the Technological University (UTEC).
